Keith Beasley started One Dental in 2009 after relocating from the UK where he ran a successful practice in Shropshire. Originally from Middlesbrough and qualifying as a dentist in 1986 at Newcastle University Keith worked in a number of dental practices in the UK and had a post at the Dental Hospital in Sydney Australia. Previously he had also owned 2 dental practices in Auckland between 1997 and 2004. He has over 30 years experience as a dentist and has a particular interest in Crown and Bridgework and restoring Implants. He is married to Alison and they have 2 children George 18 and Emilia 13 who has special needs. Keith is an empathic gentle dentist who enjoys working with all his patients treating each one with respect and understanding.
Keith is currently working 4 days a week in Stoke and spends his spare time playing golf when he is not at home with his family. Also a keen skier in the winter.
Pei Jie Un
Pei Jie (PJ) joined One Dental in 2016 and has worked in both Stoke and Mapua. Originally from Kuala Lumpur Malaysia PJ qualified from Otago University in 2014 and has now made Nelson his home. He enjoys all aspects of dentistry and is well liked by his patients who enjoy his sense of humour and integrity. PJ currently works full time in Stoke. His interests outside dentistry include being an active member of his local gym and is also known for his culinary skills specialising in Malaysian cuisine.
Richard Lewis joined One Dental in 2016 after working as a locum for us. Originally from the UK Richard qualified from Sheffield University in 1990 and brings a wealth of experience to One Dental. He particularly enjoys CadCam/Digital dentistry which allows him to prepare and place crowns in one day for his patients. The owner of 2 dogs keeps Richard out of mischief and having just finished his first house build in Motueka he hopes to keep busy by building another one soon. He currently works full time in Mapua.
Nicky Francis has just returned to Nelson and is excited to be joining One Dental. Nicky is an ex Hampden Street School and Nelson College for Girls student. She has spent time in the North Island before coming to her senses and returning to Nelson. With 20 years experience as a Dentist Nicky has initally worked in Waikato Hospital and subsequently owned two practices in the Bay of Plenty for the past 15 years. Nicky is known for being gentle and caring.
Nicky loves being in the great outdoors where you will find her running, biking and paddle boarding with her husband Paul and furbaby Kaiya the dog.
