Justin is an Otago graduate originally from Christchurch. Over the course of his career, he has developed advanced skills in aesthetic dentistry (including Invisalign and digital smile design), rehabilitative dentistry, complex root canals, and IV sedation. He is also currently working toward completing his master’s degree in Periodontology at UCL in London. To ensure he remains at the forefront of modern dentistry, Justin has undertaken training in Australia, Canada, the UK, and New Zealand, gaining a comprehensive understanding of best practices worldwide. Justins continuous drive to learn and grow reflects his commitment to providing patients with the most up-to-date, evidence-based care available.

Justin is dedicated to offering a welcoming, comfortable, and pain-free dental experience. His patient-centred approach is built on trust, respect, and consistently high-quality care for patients of all ages. Kind and patient by nature, Justin supports those with dental anxiety and is pleased to offer IV sedation to help make treatment as stress-free as possible.

Justin loves living in Nelson with his partner Alice, their cat Aava, and their dog Mazie. In recent years, much of his time outside the clinic has been spent studying periodontology. However, whenever Justin has got some time off, Justin and Alice will be off traveling and exploring new countries.

Sarah is originally from Malaysia and has completed her Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Otago. She is passionate in providing warm, gentle and patient-centred dental care. She knows that going to the dentist can be scary sometimes so she always tries her best to help patients overcome their dental fears. She believes in life-long learning and is enthusiastic towards improving her quality of care. She enjoys all aspects of dentistry with a special interest in restorative dentistry. Apart from work, she loves spending her free time going to the beach and exploring sunny Nelson.

After graduating from Dental Therapy at Otago in 1999, Michelle worked in public health for 3 years in Canterbury and Otago, treating children from 2 to 12 years of age at the School Dental Service.

After 2 years working and travelling in Sydney and Canada Michelle returned to South Australia where she studied whilst working for the SA Dental Service.

Michelle completed her Advanced Diploma in Dental Hygiene in 2009 and commenced work at a busy Dental Partners practice in the Clare Valley. Here she gained 6 years of invaluable experience working as a dental therapist and dental hygienist for a large group of happy patients. Michelle brings her friendly nature and professionalism to offer each patient the best dental experience possible.

Mat brings a wealth of dental experience to One Dental. Originally trained in Sheffield (UK), he has worked across England, Scotland, the Shetland Islands, and Doncaster. After moving to New Zealand, Mat has spent the past 20 years here, most of this time in our beautiful Nelson region.

He has a special interest in restorative dentistry, rebuilding teeth that are worn or damaged, and creating dentures to replace missing teeth. Mat has also developed a strong interest in caring for patients with periodontal (gum) disease.

Outside of work, Mat enjoys spending time with his son, growing food, beekeeping, brewing, and getting outdoors whenever he can.

Siemin achieved her Doctorate degree in Dental Surgery in 2004 in Mainz, Germany. After working in several private dental practices in southern Germany, she went on to lead her own practice for 10 years. Continuously gaining advanced training in cosmetic, endodontic and complex restorative treatments (prosthodontics), such as full mouth restoration.

Siemin has a true passion for working with people. With her warm, gentle approach she ensures patients feel comfortable and understood, whilst providing the highest level of care and respect.

She enjoys all areas of general dentistry, but has a passion for creating beautiful smiles and helping patients achieve the healthy mouth that they have always dreamed of.

Siemin recently moved to Nelson with her husband Richard and their young son, Eric. They are ecstatic to be in New Zealand, where they plan to spend time as a family and hope to achieve the work-life balance that is so elusive in Germany.

Meor graduated BDS (Adelaide, Australia) in 1997 and is a fully registered dentist in Malaysia, Australia and New Zealand. He has gained extensive experience in general dentistry in a career which includes roles as hospital dental officer, clinical tutor, private practitioner and voluntary community dentist.

He was conferred Fellow of the International College of Dentist (FICD) in 2013 and Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (FICOI) in 2015.

Throughout his career, Meor has developed strong advanced clinical skills in general and cosmetic dentistry, taking on particular interests in CAD-CAM digital dentistry, aesthetic tooth-colored restorations, oral surgery and dental implants.

Known for his friendly, gentle and meticulous manner, Meor believes in delivering high standard dentistry while providing a pleasant and satisfying experience for his patients.

Meor moved to New Zealand with his family in 2018 working as the lead senior dentist in Westport before settling in Nelson. In his spare time Meor enjoys music, books, sports and the outdoors.

Nicky Francis recently returned to Nelson and is excited to be joining One Dental. Nicky is an ex Hampden Street School and Nelson College for Girls student. She spent time in the North Island before coming to her senses and returning to Nelson. With 20 years experience as a Dentist, Nicky initially worked in Waikato Hospital and subsequently owned two practices in the Bay of Plenty for the past 15 years. Nicky is known for being gentle and caring.

Nicky loves being in the great outdoors where you will find her running, biking and paddle boarding with her husband Paul and furbaby, Kaiya the dog.
